James J. Chao, MD FACS is a Professor of Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of California, San Diego. Dr Chao is a fellowship trained hand and microvascular surgeon who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the hand and upper extremity, aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, and body contour surgery.
David Chao, MD is a board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with a Subspecialty Certification in Sports Medicine, who has been engaged in an active San Diego practice since 1995. He is a member of the international ACL Study Group, the NFL Physicians Society, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and other societies.
Shaun has worked with Dr. Chao since 1996. His role is to assist Dr. Chao in clinic and in surgery. He graduated from BYU in sports medicine. Prior to joining OASIS he worked as an athletic trainer for the San Diego Chargers. What he likes best about working with Dr. Chao is the fact that he likes to see the patients return to activities they enjoy.
Dr. Chen is a fellowship trained surgical oncologist focused on breast, endocrine, and melanoma surgery who comes to OasisMD from City of Hope in Los Angeles where he was an Associate Professor of Surgery.
Dr. Jessica Collins is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon who is also fellowship trained in adult craniofacial surgery, aesthetic surgery and pediatric craniofacial and plastic surgery. Dr. Collins is board certified in plastic surgery by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
